We like pancakes a lot.. the original ones which are rich, soft and fluffy, served for continental breakfast in most posh restaurants. When I'm writing this, I could remember the hot pancakes served with maple syrup in a HongKong restaurant we stayed during our HM trip ;) The breakfast buffet spread was just awesome.. you will need half a day to taste each of the item there. Muffins, Croissants, Muesli, Yogurt in flavors, fruit spread, salads, Meats, Roasted Beans, Noodle and egg stations to customize your food. I still remember we had atleast 3 eggs with different toppings each day :P. I hope Sandy sees this post and takes me to another abroad trip just to enjoy such food!! Some of the photos we clicked two years back..

Summer is on a high spree!! My hubby doesnt drink anything cold normally, afraid of catching a bad cold! But now... he wants to drink something cold even during the nights!! Heights of Summer!!
Lemons are a quick refreshing option for this heat.. that too with Mint... absolute cooling drink. But where do we have the time to squeeze lemons, clean mint leaves and grind them?? So here is an option to make quick refreshing drink in a jiffy!! This saves time and also saves lemons for you... everytime you leave a half lemon in your fridge, you forget about it and it dries up. Summer Summer Summer!! It's heating up everywhere!! Like Never before!!
We cannot imagine the April-May Heat in India, as we saw the hottest March in Bangalore after 15 years. So let's try a cool summer drink to beat the heat outside and also inside our body. We came across this recipe in Isha Blog, and loved it because of it's healthy ingredients. You just need pomegranate seeds and tender coconut water + tender coconut flesh. :) Blend the pomegranate seeds first and then blend it again with tender coconut juice + flesh. Add palm sugar (if you cannot drink it without sugar) and ice cubes and gulp it!! Goodness of Pomegranate and tender coconut in one drink!! Happy summer!! |
