Natural way to remove facial warts
WARTS - hearing the name of it makes us get irritated and annoyed!! I have seen many people having warts on their neck, hands, feet and on their face too. I've heard it falls off after a few months or years by itself. But it's so irritating to touch or feel them on your skin... eeks!! I never had them until one day, when I woke up to see two small eruptions on my skin... and that too on my face!! God damn!! Never imagined this would happen even in my worst nightmares!!
Initially I convinced myself that they were just pimples which would vanish in few days. But no, they were baby warts in the developing stage. Got them near my lips.. I was very much worried about it all day. If it had come in any other area, I would have left them to exist and hide them forever. I started reading about warts and how to remove them.

Warts are skin growths that are caused by HPV (Human Papillomavirus). There are many types of warts and they usually come in clusters, spreads easily through cut skin. So it's some kind of bacteria or fungus according to me. I started trying out home remedies to stop it's growth and remove it myself. I did not lose hope and it paid off!! I removed them and that was the happiest moment for me :) I don't know which remedy helped me remove it, but the combination of all of it worked! So let's see what worked and how!
| 1. Garlic Juice I read in a lot of places that garlic burns out the HPV virus and the wart dies off finally. You need to cut a fresh garlic pod into two and rub it on the wart very carefully, as the garlic juice burns the skin very badly!! I followed this method and started applying garlic on my warts everyday morning and night. I could feel some improvement in a couple of days, the wart skin was not so active. But i burnt my skin around the wart :( It's too strong that the facial skin cannot take!! So I stopped applying garlic until my skin returned back to normal state. You can try this remedy precariously on face, but should work fine on other skin areas like hands and feet. Alternatively you can try taking garlic pills everyday, which is also known to avoid the formation of warts. |  Garlic Juice/ Oil |
Banana Peel Rub 2. Banana Peel
Yes.. rubbing a banana peel on your warts might kill the wart virus. This might sound very funny, but this is the hidden truth that it works!! Applied it morning and night. This remedy did not hurt my skin and I could feel a difference, the wart dried up slowly.
No harm in trying this remedy, but I'm not sure how it would work on mature or old stronger warts. I have seen people with warts bigger than a pepper corn.

3. Topical Anti-fungal lotion
I just thought that any topical anti-fungal lotion should work on these infections. I tried a lotion called as "Candid-B" which I had at home, anti-fungal lotion. I also tried a antibiotic and antiseptic cream at times (since I had burned my skin with garlic too) which was handy.
Apart from these I also applied Axe brand oil on the warts sometimes, may be I had gone mad until i got rid of them!! Crazy me!! You can also try applying apple cider vinegar on the warts, I skipped it since I didn't have it at home.
How did the warts go away - The warts slowly dried up with all the torture I gave them. They had no life in it, I realized it was just dead skin. But it did not fall off easily and i did not have patience to wait. While scrubbing my face I scrubbed hard and literally pulled off the dead skin. Shed some blood but it was finally gone!!
I applied anti-septic cream for next few days for the skin to heal, but the sad part is it left a dark spot in it's place.
A dark spot is better than a irritating external growth of skin. But I'm hopeful that the scar will fade out with my turmeric pack and other home remedies :)

Other Remedies - I have heard my friends saying that homeopathic doctors have a topical powder that they apply on warts and it burns down the wart in a single application. I also saw some videos that burning the warts directly is also a remedy - Oh my God that was so scary!! Crazy remedies on the net, but you need to know which is the safest option to try.
