Mother's day falls on the second sunday of May. It's a day when you have to take some time out to express your love explicitly to her... Yes you need to say it!! Come on!! You can make your own cards, buy some gifts, make sweets at home, take her out for dinner, whatever but do tell her aloud, "I Love you Mom for all that you have given me" !! They really deserve it.
Now let's look into some lovely DIY projects for making your Mom happy and proud.

1. Blooming Monogram
This one looks really cute and colorful for this Summer. Letters can be made out of cardboard or thermocol, and flowers pinned to it. Hang them in your living room or in your entrance.

3. Letter Stenciled Pillow Covers
This one is pretty, with the message you want to convey. You just need a plain pillow cover, fabric/ permanent marker pens and your childhood letter stencils. Write down your message, iron your fabric reversed, put the pillow in and ta da!

5. Rainbow Roses
We haven't tried this yet, but these artificially colored roses looks awesome.
You can try this one with a full bloomed white rose, by splitting the stem into how many ever number of colors you want to infuse and dipping each of them into diluted food dyes. Wait for 24 hours and see the magic. Stick back the stem together and surprise your mom with this one :)
