I dint do much of any tweaks to her recipe. The only ticker is that it takes a bit of your time and laborious. Highlight - I loved the part of hiding raisins into the kofta, I stuffed in some of them for me, and left the rest plain for my hubby as he felt it was too sweet for him. I had some koftas left out and it served as a great snack too!! Wowwww two recipies - a snack and a rich gravy!!
After reading my recipe's name as Raw banana/vazhakkai kofta, you might be wondering how could this even work!! Even I had never seen any gravy recipe with raw banana until I came across Sneha akka's The Secret Ingredient Blog. Her recipe photos are extremely professional taken by Sathya anna and looks so yummy that you can never miss trying them out. (Excuse my bad photography, yet to buy a DSLR and master it!) I knew only to make some usual side dishes for rice from vazhakkai, so i thought of giving this a try and I must say that it turned out real good!! The koftas were rich with paneer and aalu, the essence of raw banana was so subtle and brought a new flavour to the gravy. Here goes the link to her recipe: Raw Banana Kofta Curry.
